Local legend Phil Walleystack toured throughout WA with the Perth Symphony Orchestra in 2020.

After ten years touring internationally Phil has the ability to connect with every member of the audience with his raw talent and unique style of storytelling and humour. His harmonious mix of melodies enchant and captivate audiences the world over. Featuring lighting design and carefully selected visuals, the tour was a collaboration between Walleystack and an eight-piece Perth Symphony string section in a cultural fusion of Phil’s traditionally inspired contemporary edge works with the classical sounds of the orchestra.

Driven by a passion for entertaining, Phil’s unique and powerful performance – combining the past and present through a truly exciting experience, is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.

“My job as an entertainer is to take audiences on a journey, even if it’s just for a moment, through music, lighting and visuals” Phil Walleystack says.

“This is a magical opportunity for our musicians to join Phil and his band on stage, performing his wonderful songs with regional communities.” Perth Symphony CEO and Founder Bourby Webster said.

The tour visited Bunbury, Moora, Northam, Kalamunda, Geraldton, and Albany, from 29 August – 25 September 2020, and predominantly consisted of free, ticketed performances to the public thanks to support from local councils and venues, and event sponsors, CBH Group, Reconciliation WA, and DLGSC.
